Nice pics, but some of those carnies and vendors looked a little ticked off. Perhaps they don't like having their pictures taken? Maybe they're afraid you're going to steal their soul? LOL Especially the guy in the sunglass booth.

LOL Especially the guy in the sunglass booth. Yeah, I don't care, lol. He was mad becuase he thought I was going to report them for selling knock off sun glasses. I think he's the only one mean mugging me. A lot of people enjoy getting their pictures taken because with the rig I carry around they think they're going to get in the paper or something. Ohhh vanity! |

I notice that when I get to this thread, all the photos are transferred from photobucket. What would happen if I closed my photobucket account? Would the photos quit loading?

What do you mean "transferred" from photobucket? Huh? If you close your photobucket account or move a picture within photobucket, the image will no longer show up here. |

I have the little progress line on that shows up just above the start button, and that is where it says Transferring data from img.photobucket.com. It's just uploading the images. Now that you've viewed that page once, it should pop up almost instantly and they'll be stored in your temp files or cache.

Unless I have the cache- and cookie-dumping settings on high, I suppose.

is that last picture over by liberty trail? No. Big hint is what is in the background. But you are correct about the first one. The difference between genius and stupidity is that there are limits to genius. Albert Einstein

First one is the fountain.
Second is the Amtrak siding switch by the DNR. Third is at the new park by Krueger Jr Hi. In the background is a ditch that flows into Trail Creek, which is flowing from the fisherman's left to right. The flowers are from Millenium Park. The stones are from the track bed by the DNR. well I got the fountain and the train tracks was pretty much a given with the Nipsco building in the back.
I haven't been to the park by Krueger since it's been built but we used to go back by the train trestle back there to go fishing when I was younger. We'd either ride bikes right there by the honk bridge or park a car at the bowling alley and walk through that field at night. |
