When my tank is empty, the price goes up. When my tank is full, the price drops.....

There were bigger gains in inventory in the midwest specifically. I wouldn't be be surprised to see another short term run locally at $3 a gallon soon. The price jump from Monday is already being erased quickly.
GasBuddy: BREAKING: Today's EIA data shows gasoline inventories start the New Year at their highest January level ever. Wholesale prices likely to lock in decreases after the market closes tonight, as spot gasoline prices currently lower in trading. |

From Gasbuddy
Gasoline prices appear to be rising in Michigan to $3.35/gal. Other surrounding states should beware that prices could rise in IN, OH, KY, IL as well. |

There is a 10 cent spread in gas prices between stations on South Franklin, and the cheapest stations down east Hwy 20 a bit further. Keep your eyes open!

The part that angers me most is I heard stories all morning about falling gas prices. Gee thanks for that.

A quick heads up... It looks like gas prices might be going up today. A few scattered stations around town have already gone up to the $3.79/$3.89 range as of yesterday. A fill up might not be a bad idea.

I spent 20 minutes in line at Kroger waiting for gas. By the time I got off work, everyone had raised their prices except Kroger, which was still at $3.59. All the other stations were at $3.99.

Our system is starting to detect gas price spikes in Michigan and Ohio, usually the first two states to see it, so watch out IN, WI, IL |

Heard on GMA this morning that because of what's going on in Egypt, our gas prices will skyrocket and they anticipate the national average to be over $4/gal. Which mostly likely means our gas will be close to $5/gal since we seem to always be well above the national average.

Futures have gone to $2.95 a gallon, which puts our prices at right about where they should be. |

It looks like we have entered a bit of a gas price war locally. It might be triggered by the Phillips 66 station that took over the old Jewel gas station, but prices in City are as low as $3.73 in town. Places like Chesterton and Valpo are still in the high $3.80's or more.
