Family searches for missing son

MICHIGAN CITY — The father of a missing Michigan City teen says he and his family have been “everywhere” in their search for the boy.

Don McGinnis said his son, Zachary McGinnis, 15, was last seen Friday night at home.

“We don’t know whether he has left town or been around at all,” he said. “No one we have talked to has seen him.”

The Michigan City High School student is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 114 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. The boy’s father said he was reported missing two or three months ago, but was found after a few days at Michigan City High School.
