BEVERLY SHORES — Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore fire staff will be conducting a 285 acre prescribed fire on the west end of Beverly Shores today near the intersection of East State Park Road and Lake Front Drive, near Kemil Beach.
East State Park Road will be closed from U.S. 12 north to Lake Front Drive. Lake Front Drive will be closed from the Lake View Beach parking lot, west to East State Park Road. Road closures are in place for the safety of the fire crews and public during the burn, according to a press release.
