If you have children birth through 3 years of age, Baby Talk is a great program. Baby Talk is a grant-funded program that provides a place for young children and their parents to spend time with other families, and it stresses the family's early role in the literacy of children. Participants engage in finger plays and songs, and there is a story time. Each family then receives a free board book. I don't know all the meeting places or times, but I do know that there is a meeting on Wednesdays at Joy School from 3:45-4:30. I think that Dunebrook would have a listing of all the other meeting places and times.
