Another newer program for the MC YMCA is "Angels in the Field," a program designed to provide children with special need the opportunity to participate in sports ina similar fashion to their peers.

Right now, the kids are in the midst of their 8 week bowling season. Signups for the summer baseball programs will begin in March. They're also adding a spring swim class for this group.

It's a great program, and definitely shows that our local "Y" has to quite a lot to offer.

I am glad to see I am not the only Y backer in these parts smile.gif I believe in our YMCA, as I am pretty much a product of a YMCA childhood. I still do a lot to give back to the kids that are there now too, because someone did the same stuff for me. The Y can use all of the support people are willing to give.

Another program getting ready to start is Scuba
