I heard and read about the La Porte football player from afar and I have to say it was a tremendous gesture with the way the teams honored him. It's good to see there are still some caring hearts out there.

MCHS and NPHS signed a banner and sent it to the school. About a half a dozen other teams in the Region did tributes at their games, without LaPorte even being there. |
