Didn't there used to be an intermediate fee for people who lived in the MCAS district but outside of the City? Still seems like a good idea. Also, if county money is used at the Park, County residents deserve some break.

It was like this:

Free inside the civil city limits

$20 for residents outside the civil city limits but within the MCAS district

And I think, but I'm not positive, $30 for LP County residents and $40 for Indiana state residents.

Must've been too confusing for the folks issuing the stickers to keep up with all those different fees, so they just dropped it down to three different types instead of 5.

Either way, it's too darn rich for my blood. When I come home in summer, I don't even go to Wash Park anymore. If I want a day at the beach, I go to Porter beach. It's free, and much much cleaner!
