For those who like the burgers up there, like I do, they opened for the season on March 1. Remember they have that new porch they built a few years back, that is heated, so there are plenty of seats on most days. Also remember they only take cash. No credit cards, or you get hit with the three dollar ATM fee (unless you have Horizon Bank).

The burgers would be so much better if you could get them fully dressed. For some reason Redamak's doesn't offter lettuce and tomato on their burgers. That kills it for me.

For some reason, Redamak's has never impressed me that much. But the frozen custard place across the street from them has some really good stuff!

Actually, that's why I like them - I'm a no-toppings kinda guy. We ate at Redamak's last July when I was home - I like Swingbelly's burgers better, but Redamak's was pretty spectacular. |

For a regular burger I like Redamaks better, but I love a couple of the specialty burgers at Swingbelly's.
Maybe we need a best burger in town poll? |

We did Redamak's today for lunch...excellent! For those of you who tire of burgers, they make a great reuben sandwich.

I'm in fear for my life. I don't like Redamaks. Haven't been to Swingbelly's in years.
I like the Angus Burgers at Damon's! Nothing is worth more than this day!

I want to get in on this one!! I like Redamak's a lot; and I've stayed away from Swingbelly's b/c I thought their food was awful. So, SSer, I'm trying Swingbelly's again, SOON. But what about burgers at the Ritz Club, Holly's, and Schoop's? I think that they all have great burgers.
I'm always asking Bob the proverbial question: If we ate a burger every single day, how many days would it take to get sick of burgers? I say never! I'm not computer savvy enough to run the poll, but I hope it goes. This will be fun! |

*Crosses Homey off Christmas card list* So sorry Tim, I would support you on most other things DH is on a lifetime search for the perfect burger and he really likes Barker Inn's burger too. I like Damon's grilled Salmon while he eats his burger...but that's off subject! Nothing is worth more than this day!

I also like the burgers (and other food) at Ryan's (corner of 4th and Franklin, close to the Ritz Club - which I haven't tried yet). * "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Should try George & Ruby's as well ... great burger..great price! I've heard a lot of great things about George & Ruby's. Is he the former head chef of Rodini's? We went there once when it was the pizza joint. It was not pleasant. In fact, we left. Since George & Ruby took over, I've heard wonderful reviews! I know we're talking about burgers, but I heard that their reuben and pulled pork was out of this world. Have to give it a try. |

Yes, George is formerly of Rodini's. Don't know about reubens or pulled pork, but the burgers are great and so are the tacos that Ruby puts together. They also have a buffet every Sunday I think from noon to 6:00pm and they put out a fantastic spread. All you can eat 12.99 per person ... good eats. |
