I haven't done this, but a friend told me she goes to the bar at William B's and gets an appetizer. It's a cheaper way to get some of the experience and deliciousness.

I'm with you on that. I've gone to the Casino twice, for about an hour because I'd never been to one before. It's just not for me and I forget there's a restaurant in there! Maybe I would go to the restaurant if they had an outside entrance so you wouldn't have to follow the herd.

I had dinner at the Casino once, but that was a while ago and don't even know if it's the same place-it was on the boat not the barge. I wasn't too impressed, but like the others here, I'm not a fan of the casino. I suffer from claustrophobia and something about that place, with all the bells ringing and people making noise, etc., causes me to have panic attacks, so I don't go in there. In all the years that place has been open, I've been there only three times, and never for longer than an hour.

For the longest time I felt the same way. I've never been to the boat. I saw it as one step away from legal heroin sales. Now my dad was way into it from the money the city gets angle. We were talknig about it, and he asked if I thought we should close all the liquor stores because chronic alcoholics can go there and buy booze. THat made sense. I'm still not into it but I'm not so down on it anymore. |
