Last night the MCPC approved, by a vote of 8-0, a brand new restaurant and building to be built and located at 7th and Wabash (in between Lange meat market and Lighthouse Place). The are planning on doing an authentic middle eastern cuisine.

Wonder if they'll want dancers? Do we know who the owners will be? I'd like to contact them....

They have been through the BZA already, and now the Planning Group. They still have to go through the Historical Review board because of where they want to build. I imagine they won't be breaking ground until next year. |

Right, but if we want to dance at their restaurant, we need to get that ball rolling as soon as possible. Thanks for the info.

No problem. Personally I am excited to see another building and business going into the area. It would be incredible to see that area between LHP and Blue Chip turn into something resembling downtown St Joe at some point in the future.
