I was supposed to be in it this year, but that didn't work out like we expected. Soooo......
I won't be there this year because I will be in the LaPorte parade and we will be spending Saturday decorating our float. Look for us if you go to LaPorte on Sunday--Silver Moon Dancing Studio--we'll be close to the end. I heard the LaPorte parade was better than ours..but who knows this year with the economy. I haven't been to parade in years...but I really like the fireworks. Wish they were on Saturday evening instead of Sunday though. My hubby has to get up very early Mondays..huh, every day

We never heard a word from anyone at parade committee. My friend talked to a person--finally--about three weeks ago, but she didn't know anything about our application and told us to drop one off at some gas station. That's when we gave up and called LP.
Anyway, the paper came out and I see we are in the line-up. We won't be there because we planned to make the float for Sunday. I wish they could've made contact with us to confirm so we could have prepared for Saturday. **heavy sigh** Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind~Dr. Suess

The parade was fun as always, but much shorter than it has been historically. There were 175 entries last year, but only 123 this year. I am downloading pics as we speak.

The MC parade was fun this year - it is good to sit down for awhile and talk with friends and relatives.
