Any chance this spring the Wolves can pull of a miracle run like the Blazers basketball team just did? Can Coach Feare bring a winning record and a competitive spirit back to the girls softball team? Is there a hidden gem on the golf team that can go to state ala Novak. Will the track team full of athletes and football throwers win a DAC and sectional title. Will the girls tennis team win yet another sectional title? Will the boys baseball team get over the hump and win 20 games and a sectional title? Will Coach Bumber get the girls track team back to state as he has done so often before?

Anybody that has known me over the years knows that I never attend spring high school sports, they just have never been my cup of tea. Probably might have attend a handful in the last 20 years. Even if I had someone participating I would not go see them compete in their event. Either too cold, rainy, snowy to go outside and sit through a game and on the nice days I have way too many other things to do. Way to many postponements and cancellations as well. Still follow the teams in the spring through newspaper, internet, radio, TV, Etc. Although I wish all the teams, athletes, coaches, officials and administrators well, I will not be back until football starts again in August and boys and girls basketball starts in November.

Good week for the spring athletes. Track beats Chesterton, Baseball beats LaPorte and Softball shuts out New Prairie. Maybe the lunar eclipse needs to happen more often?

Looks like boys track season is over.

Wolves sophomore Jasmine McLemore place 2nd in the regional in the girls 400m and will compete in the state meet at IU Bloomington for the 2nd year in a row on Saturday. Good luck to Jasmine.

After that all will be left after that is boys golf.
