Not a lot has been said locally about the centennial of the Burnham plan for development of Lake Michigan shoreline from the north side of Chicago to the area around southern Lake Michigan although I believe there was mention of that anniversary some time ago on CitybytheLake.

The Chicago Symphony web site has a salute in music and documentation: http://www.cso.org/main.taf?p=15,1,145 with some magnificant performances by the CSO produced by friend Marty Ronish and broadcast on WFMT and throughout the country.
