I started this rant thread 3 years ago. In the ensuing time I've come to accept the News Dispatch, warts n' all. It is what it is. There's something f'd up nearly every day - pointing it out here is just a waste of time, IMO. You must get some enjoyment out of wasting time if this is the case... |

Guess what - I changed my mind! Welcome to America. I suppose I could note the humor of someone who is sitting in Japan writing, "Welcome to America." Instead, I'll just commend you on your continued perfection in life. It has to be difficult never having made a single mistake over the years. Kudos. |

The News Dispatch has the same problems that most newspapers have that are in small and medium sized towns. The newspaper business has been a consolidating industry for a few decades. Most reporters and editors put together several newspapers, not just one. Most of the so called local papers are no longer locally owned. When there are changes or transitions in personnel, easy things get missed like coverage of city council meetings for a month or two.
I gave up knocking the News Dispatch when I was a kid in the 70's. No sense kicking the dog. |

The online edition of the N-D has improved greatly since Parkhouse became managing editor but please remove officer Francisco Rodriguez name from underneath this scumbags photo.

Francisco Rodriguez seems like a fine police officer. |
