Well, that didn't take long.

Keystone exempt from executive order

I spoke with many union workers who canvassed Valpo and other areas rich with steel workers past and present. The one resounding theme was "trust".

Now how do you feel?

I feel great! President Trump at least will allow investment in our country. Our previous President just said no and the economy slowly chugged along (always less 2% GDP growth) in spite of Obama's actions. Under Obama, people were getting poorer and poorer (more on food stamps, less good paying full time jobs, only expanding part time jobs), etc. I agree that Trump should not force the financiers of the Keystone pipeline to use US made steel because they probably already had the contracts set up, if not already purchased th steel for the pipeline. It would be more government intervention if Trump forced them to use US made steel. Trump is all about smaller government and less intervention into private business. Now, I do agree that if they do not yet have contracts for the steel, they should get a corporate tax incentive to buy American. Funny thing is though much of the steel made in this country is made by union brothers and sisters under a foreign corporation, Arcelor Mittal. Are you saying we should not buy steal for government projects from foreign companies even if the steel is made here in the USA? I think we should still buy it from these foreign companies only if they make the product here.

I feel good. He is trying to bring jobs back to the country, building up the military, deporting illegal criminals, having the US be a leader once again, supporting allies like Israel, repeal and replace Obamacare, working on reducing corporate taxes, repealing regulations that stifle growth, reducing the size of government. What's not to like unless you live on the government payroll with entitlements(other than social security and Medicare which he is going to protect). Poor liberals, how many have left for Canada? Not enough of them. Go start another protest since you don't want to work anyway.

Trump does not spend money on Indiana made steel. he prefers concrete and when he does buy steel it is from china. fake news? just look at the import records.

the steel used for KXL is from Russia - big news there, right? Canada will make some of the Dakota pipes. The bulk of the KXL job was done under the Obama admin and didn't need approval because it was not crossing a border. or didn't fox news report that?

Don't you have a protest to attend, a building to loot or a government handout to pick up? How many illegals are you trying to protect? Maybe we can make the new area by the Police Station/old News Disptach a Sanctuary City? You might want to keep getting your news from CNN, SNL & your Hollywood crybabies.
