29512 total votes cast in the 2010 general election of 76,763 registered voters, or a turnout of 38.45%. Of those voters 6526 punched a straight party (punch 10,11, or 12) ballot. The amazing thing is that the difference between the Dems and the Repubs was only 1800. If you look at a race like Keith Harris and Willie Milsap where the difference was just over 200 votes, that means for the people that actually took the time to look at their ballots, Keith Harris won the race.
