Ok. I am an idiot. I can't seem to get the quote feature to work.
Do I highlight text, click the quote button and then click reply? How 'bouts a quick tutorial for the thick-skulled. Put simply, mean reversion is a bitch. -Vitaliy Katsenelson

To quote the person you're replying to, simply click on reply. If you'd rather copy and paste your quote, click on the little bubble above (the one that looks like it's from a comic page), at the beginning and end of the quote. Hope this helps. |

You can also highlight the text you want to put in quote and then click the button that Jenny spoke of. But you can't do it in "fast reply," only in "add reply." If you're in "fast reply" you can select the text you want to put in quotes and at the bottom of the text box there is a long button that says "Add Selected Text As Quote". Click that and you will put your text in a quote To put someone else's post in the quotes, you click the button "reply" at the bottom of the post you want to put in quotes. Then make sure your curser is at the very end so your post doesn't end up inside the quoted post.

Or you can make up a quote box yourself by using the [ key, typing the word quote, and then closing it with a ] key. Then after your quote, you do the same thing, except put a / in between the [ and quote.
