Five Guys burgers was named the best burger in the US. That got me thinking, we should do a best City Burger contest, much like the Best Pizza contest. So what I am asking from you all, is specific nominations for the best burgers in City. For example, I will throw out the A1 Burger from SwingBelly's Restaurant and the Western Burger from Holly's Restaurant. What say you?

Absolutely Ritz Klub. Order onion rings with your burger and you will be assured of a long nap.

Schoop's has got a really good one, too ... Little bit expensive, but tasty.

Five Guys is terribly overrated... can't hold a candle to Portillo's. I know, I know... Portillo's is Chicagoland only, but I'm just sayin'.

Ritz Club does have a killer burger...

just recently I've had a couple really good burgers at Soda Dog, the old Roxannes. The hotdogs don't do much for me but the burger is damn good.

I'm a big fan of the Mickey at Schoop's. I grew up loving Steak and Shake (we'd drive down to Kokomo to get it), and Schoop's is SnS + 1000000% better.

I love the crispy edged, flat griddled burger.

The Ritz Klub cheeseburger is great, no doubt - but I think Swingbelly's Belly Burger bests it, taste-wise. I've had problems with Swingbelly's, and their manager/owner - but I've also been a fan since they were out on LSD. As such, I'll be going back in December.

Even though they are quite pricey. I like the burgers at The Game at the Blue Chip Casino Complex.
