If there is a place you can get a coat zipper fixed or replaced in town? The zipper on my winter coat broke, and because there is a little lever in there, you can't raise or lower the zipper without that level being pushed in. Unless I take a safety pin or a paperclip, I can't zip my coat up or down! Is there anywhere in town that can fix it or put a new zipper in, or do I need a new coat?

If it ends up that you need a new coat, now is the time (end of the season sales=great prices).
Try calling places that do alterations, like Dudek's, Alterations Plus, or whoever else in in the yellow pages. Someone should be able to help you. I'd try it myself, but I'm not domestic in that way. |

I take all of my alterations to Stitch in Time/Sarah Britney. She's wonderful! And her prices are more than reasonable. |

My game coat has a zipper like that and I lost my pull tab, too! Unfortunately I'm here, not there. But, my coat came from St. Andrew's Products. You might call them and ask if they can fix it for you.

Where is she located? Do you have a number? She's located on Garfield Street (I think 209), right around the corner from General Rental. Her number is, 874-4677. Although you might want to call for her hours, it's fine to just drop in with your items. I think she's open Tuesday-Friday, 10:00-4:30; Saturday's, by appointment only. |
