New theater director, classes for children

MICHIGAN CITY -- The Dunes Summer Theatre has named Peyton Daley as the new director of education for the children's theater and youth theater groups.

An award-winning actress and member of the Screen Actors Guild, Daley has made numerous appearances on stage, screen, television and radio. She has taught improvisation in Chicago for the past decade and currently teaches improv and acting at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts.

Daley moved to Michigan City with her husband and her two children and is slated to direct two upcoming productions in LaPorte County.

There are three levels of classes available: Fine Arts Camp for ages 6-11; Children's Theatre for ages 12-14, and Youth Theatre for ages 15-18.
