So maybe in a bout of insanity, or a midlife crisis, I signed up to run in the Chicago corporate challenge. Its only 3.5 miles, but I haven't ran something like this in about 10 years. I have been wanting to do something like it, and the company pays out entry fee, so I said what the heck. Now I just have to make myself get out and run.

If your starting running again, check out a local MC'er. The website is halhigdon.com. He has a lot of good articles. He used to write for Runner's World, don't know if he still does.

Hal was an assistant coach for track when I ran at Elston. Is he still running? He was incredible back then at his age.
