Bud was a very nice man and Michigan City was important to him. He was on the Chamber of Commerce Board for years and was the President of the Chamber Board in the mid 80's. He had many business interests in and around Michigan City, including one fledgling project called JRB (I forget the J, R is Ruby, and B is Brennan), which was the original investor and management group for Lighthouse Place.
