There is a 10 question quiz and then a 50 question quiz. I got scores of 10 and 46. The difference between genius and stupidity is that there are limits to genius. Albert Einstein

10 and an embarrassingly low 45 (lower than I expected, anyway).
But I also spotted the question they had wrong (I got what they called the right answer, but the correct answer was actually not an option) -- did anyone else? It's sort of a spoiler, so I'll put it in white between here For me, it was question 41, about the amount of time to ratify constitutional amendments. The answer was seven years on the test, but technically Congress can choose any amount of time for ratification. The 27th amendment was ratified after 202 years because Congress didn't include a ratification deadline in the proposed amendment. and here, highlight it to read it. Did the question read that it was a recent custom or did it imply that the Constitution specifies this? I felt it was the former.

The vocabulary quiz at FreeRice.com is a solid way to waste time.

Well, it's been the "custom" for a while, but I don't think they used that word. On each occasion it's determined by the language Congress uses (or doesn't use -- no limiting language, no time limit). |

I agree, but it is not a quiz in the the strict sense. The difference between genius and stupidity is that there are limits to genius. Albert Einstein

With that, I think we can say that Ric has officially driven Rush crazy.

Are you an antisemantite?! Careful, I don't want anyone scanning to get the wrong idea about me. QUOTE In any case, I did enjoy the site. Too late; your semi-rejection of my first submission leaves me no choice but to clutter up the thread with quizzes from Cosmo and Ladies Home Journal. |

I was not referring to the subject of the quiz you submitted as of questionable identity as a quiz. The issue is that there is no end to it and, as schoolkids know, no score--a critical element.
So, says I , quiz us unto semivaricosity with Cosmo (?) and LHJ, but let us be scored in a proper quiz. The difference between genius and stupidity is that there are limits to genius. Albert Einstein

Sheesh, I guess I need to put winky smilies after everything I write. |

Keep coming up with quizzes. The only ones I usually find are the news quizzes from BBC.

Hey, I got 4 as well, but I'm not going to "youch" about it. I'm supposed to know about Romanian elections, every European satellite, and Swiss sports radio? |

Speaking of electing dead guys, didn't the guy from MO get beat by the guy who died in the plane wreck? then Bush appointed him AG? I should have known about the Romanian town!
