Being an investment capitalist. I see an opportunity in town if played right we could really cash in.
I've been doing some research about the grocery store business in Michigan City and came across this article about independent grocery store Jim Agemy. http://mclib.org/genealogy/oralhistory/agemy_j_t-6-129.pdf The article states in 1975 Mr. Agemy sold his original store at 8th and Wabash to the first black grocery store owners in Michigan City. Does anybody know who purchased Mr. Agemy's store at 8th and Wabash to become Michigan City's first black grocery store owners? |

If it is the store that I am thinking of, the people that purchased that store were of Lebanese decsent. One of mt best friends dad owned it. They moved from a store that was located in the vacant lot that is next to Ryans Pub.
