Mayor Chuck Oberlie is requesting that residents cooperate by following these rules: No plastic bags are to be used, branches, rocks and other debris must be kept out of the leaf piles, leaf piles should be loose in large piles in front of the property as close to the curb as possible, but away from the sewer drains. NOTE* Leaves will not be picked up in the alleys. The City will be divided into three (3) areas. The following is a list of pickup dates and area definitions: AREA 1 -OCTOBER 25-29 & NOVEMBER 15-19 Area 1 is marked by County Line Road on the west, Franklin Street on the east, Kieffer Road on the south and Lake Michigan on the north. AREA 2- NOVEMBER 1-5 & NOVEMBER 22-26 Area 2 is marked by Lake Shore Drive and U.S. 12 and Shoreland Drive on the north, Michigan Boulevard on the south and Meer Road on the east. AREA 3 - NOVEMBER 8-12 & NOVEMBER 29-DECEMBER 3 Area 3 is marked by Franklin Street on the west, Michigan Boulevard and Roeske Avenue on the east and Kieffer Road on the south. |

Anyone know if there was a delay in leaf pick up? I live in area one on Ohio St, and we got nothing picked up.

Said we were supposed to be picked up by yesterday - working Saturday to get caught up. Mine and my neighbor's leaves have been out all week on Washington St. and not picked up as of Sunday a.m. |
