As I understand it, he has pancreatic cancer.

Dr Boris is a great guy, and I second the sentiments re the staff.

On another note, I am wondering about the Carpenter family: Only three generations?! Did they spring forth from somewhere like Athena, fully formed? I ask because most families I know go back a lot further than just three generations. Doesn't yours?
