City defeats Yorba Linda 22-6 behind 49 and 52 yard TD runs from Marquis Hurt and a 1 yard sneak from Mason Kaletha. These were the 8-9-10 year olds who went down to Disney for the second consecutive year. After finishing 3rd last year, the Wolves win the national championship. Hurt ran for almost 150 yards by himself. To let you know how dominant the Wolves were in the Div II Jr Midget divison, they never trailed during this entire season.
CONGRATS TO THEM!!! |

For those who weren't able to be at the Red Devil Gym today, here are pictures from the rally to celebrate our national champion Pop Warner football team, and our nationally ranked cheerleaders.

Just so you know, that's the Wolf Pack gym, not the Red Devil gym... times have changed. Glad to have the celebration at Elston, where 2 of the students on the team attend.

The name on the floor might have changed officially, but not for me. It will be the Red Devil Gym until the day they tear it down. Its the same way it will always be the Sears Tower to me, and not the Willis Tower. |

Hmmm.. and you want to be on the school board. I think there's about 750 people (though 680 some don't --can't-- vote) that would be sad to hear you say that.
