He now needs to find a place that can accommodate approximately 2,500 fans for the 2017 convention in a market that has likely been booked at least a year out, he said.

"I'm in the process of looking at several different conference venues within an hour of here – South Bend, Blue Chip (in Michigan City), Tinley Park and Schaumburg – but a lot of these places are already booked for 2017. We're also going to look into Avalon Manor and shuttling people to the Hilton Garden Inn, which also has meeting space," he said. "Basically, we're struggling to put the pieces together."
