Reminder: This Saturday, December 6, 2014, kicks off the Festival of Lights and the lighting of the Christmas displays in Washington Park. Santa arrives to the Senior Center via a parade that starts at 3:30pm.

The festival also features horse drawn carriage rides, pictures with Santa, free hot chocolate and cookies as well as pictures with Washington Park Zoo mascots all from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Senior Center in Washington Park.

The official lighting of Washington Park happens at 4:30pm.
