Hi all, I'm Alicia Ebaugh and I'm the new reporter at the News-Dispatch. I moved here from Sioux City, Iowa, a few weeks ago. I've worked at two larger newspapers in Iowa -- the Sioux City Journal and The Gazette in Cedar Rapids. I was laid off in February, along with nearly half the Gazette's reporting staff.
My job is to serve the community, so I would love to hear from anyone about their community concerns, questions, what have you. I'll make sure to check the boards out frequently. My number at work is 874-7211 x. 448, and I should be set up with my work e-mail soon. I'll post it when I get it. Welcome! I've already seen your work in the ND - nice job! I was born and raised in MC and have lived in Kobe, Japan for 13 years. I read the ND every day on my cell phone on the way to work - so I look forward to reading you there.

Good to see no one has lampooned my ability to write or use the English language...yet
 I feel so welcomed!But seriously, I encourage anyone to let me know if something has gone awry in my articles or if I'm not getting the whole picture. Story ideas are great, too.
