You were friends with Chuck? Aahhh, THAT explains it.
Seriously, I've always like Chuck, too. I was pretty good friends with Cindy and used to spend time at their house. (It's haunted you know. WAY haunted! Of course, being next door to a funeral home might have something to do with it. ) We have boys the same age who used to play together and Chuck used to service our furnace every year. Cindy went crazy first. I'm not really sure what happened. They were both drinking a lot. I mean A LOT. After Cindy did her thing, that kinda drove Chuck crazy. He was devastated when Cindy left and took Nebula away from him. I haven't heard anything lately, but I'll ask around and see if anyone knows what he's up to and get back to you on it. Nebula? Let's hope he's a good-natured kid...if not he'd be..........? "If a man opens the car door for his wife, it's either a new car or a new wife." - Duke of Edinburgh.

I knew Chuck a LONG time ago - like back in the 70's. He was always.... "unique" - but a good guy. I was saddened to see him go down the same road some of us did - and some of us didn't. I think he officially quit the city council - right? Thanks for your "As The Stomach Turns" update, Ang. Let me know if you hear anything. |
