Today my mother informed me that the old M&M is again closed. Was it Mary's Country Kitchen this last time? Or had that changed again? Ma said there was a sign in the window about having to close due to the economy and construction on Michigan Blvd.
That breaks my heart. As such, I post this loving tribute. |

I guess we can add another vacant business property to the already long list of places that sits closed up along the Boulevard.

I was told this afternoon that the Advancing Christ's Kingdom Ministries of Michigan City is interested in acquiring the land and building of the former Family Dollar location. Apparently their congregation has outgrown the building that they presently own across the street (the former Get-A-Way Tavern) and are looking to expand within the community.

Well, it seems that location is really shot as far as trying to have a restaurant there goes. For those of us that have gone there since the M&M moved from 10th and Franklin - the end of an era. |

THanks. I was talking about the actual M&M location. Seems every time someone tries to restart it it fails. |
