The IHSAA just posted the basketball sectional realignments. Michigan City will no longer be in the same sectional as LaPorte. City stays in Sectional 2, and LaPorte will go over to South Bend for Sectional 3. The rest of sectional two stays the same.
Marquette will be going to Sectional 34 in their first year in 2A, which will include Delphi, Hebron, Knox, North Judson, North Newton, and Winamac.
The funny thing is the Michigan City girls team will be in sectional 3. The boys would have been but S.B Washington decided to stay in 4A that kept Kankakee Vally from moving up.
