There are rumors spreading around Facebook of a sniper in the area of Hwy 20 near Hammers. I have spoken to the officer on duty and the dispatch center, and have confirmed there have been no such calls for service.

The only call for service in that area today was around 10:00am where police were investigating a 2 car motor vehicle collision that happened in front of Family Express, and the drivers pulled into the Hammers parking lot.
