MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. – The Michigan City Police Department stated Wednesday on Facebook, that the Franklin Street Bridge will be closed for mandatory repairs on February 15th.
The bridge is set to close on the 15th around 8 a.m. and is set to reopen on March 9th.
The department encourages motorists to use Center Street as an alternate route.
