Hi, my dad's hamburger recipe, Brad's Loaded Cheeseburgers, is vying in a contest for Best Cheeseburger in Siouxland! Er....Sioux City, Iowa, that is. But I live in here in Michigan City, and I'm trying to do what I can to help him win!
Voting is here: http://www.kmeg.com/global/Category.asp?c=189647 A video describing how to cook the burger is at the bottom of that page, but I'll tell you in a nutshell how it's done: You make two thin hamburger patties. Put a pile of any type of cheese you like (I prefer Havarti), some chopped mushrooms and green peppers, in the middle of one of the patties. Put the other patty on top and crimp them together to seal the ingredients in the middle. Grill. Voila, the best cheeseburger EVER. PLEASE vote for him as much as you can. I know you can vote at least once per day, maybe more. I try to bring you all quality news, so please help me hehehehe Necessary disclaimer: The views expressed in this post are mine and do not necessarily reflect the views of Paxton Media Group.

Hmmm ... sounds like a good menu option for Charlie's. ;-) I know, right? They're supposed to be Brad's Bodacious Burgers, but the TV station messed up the name. So remember that, Parkys! He got my vote - all done. Best of luck. A big THANK YOU to everyone who has been voting! If you want to keep helping, I think the voting extends through the weekend. I am trying to get him at least up to second place. Again, thank you and keep at it! Yea, inquiring minds want to know! Hopefully he did well. Well, I learned a few days ago that he only got third place in the popular voting. But the recipe that received the LEAST popular votes won the competition! I think Jeb Bush is behind this Thanks to everyone who helped! His burgers are truly amazing.
