Hi does any one know some good places for student qjobs. Not graduates just part time work etc.

Hello Sammy, welcome to our humble MB.

For summer jobs, you can check with the Parks & Rec Dept. They are located down at Washington Park. If you're not familiar with it, the kids at the gate can point you to the offices.

Also, Michigan City Area Schools hires summer grounds and clean-up people. You apply at Plant Planning which is located on Franklin St next to Ames Field (Across from Al's grocery right by the tracks). I'm not sure if they have any openings this late, but it's worth a check.

Here is a good tip for you: Ask everyone you know and meet if they know anyone hiring students. Be clean and polite when you apply. Show up slightly early. Good Luck!
