A huge Wolfpack congratulations for the Michigan City Wolves boys track team and Coach Snyder as they are STATE RUNNERS UP for 2016 at the IHSAA state track finals! They tied with Indianapolis Ben Davis for 2nd at 41 points, and trailed only Carmel High who finished with 43 points.
They had individual champions of Daniel Armstrong clearing 7 foot in the high jump and Smallwood in the 110 hurdles. ShanQuan Hemphill was state runner up in the high jump clearing 6'11". Matt Lockridge took 3rd overall in the 100 meters. Smallwood also took 6th in the 300 hurdles, Jacob Adams took 7th in the 800 meters, and Cevin Crawford finished 18th in the long jump. |
