These are the kind of things worth remembering next time you need a new car...

QUOTE
Only Hirsch Lent Cars To Driver's Ed
This message is to honor Hirsch Ford for their wonderful support this current year for the Driver Education Program at Michigan City High School. Hirsch Ford was the only dealership in Michigan City and the La Porte County area that lent cars for our students to practice driving.

Enough can't be said about how grateful we the staff at MCHS are for their continued support. Please honk as you go by Hirsch Ford in recognition of the community service they provided for our students.

Thank you Dennis Hirsch and Thomas Bassett, you are the best.

I am pleased to report that my son passed the test (whew!) and will get his license in a few months. He said the cars were little but comfortable.

Hirsch Ford is still in business? I remember them from the 70s and 80s. Does anyone know if that Thomas Bassett is the same one that owned Bassett Lincoln Mercury? I bought a used Chevy Monza from them in the early 80s.

What kind of vehicle would you like, Roger?

Accord-like, since the last one became Accordion-like! Open to others, say small suv, other coupes, sedans. Mid or smaller.
