Hey all, allow me a moment for some shameless self-promotion. But my wife, Tabitha, and I have taken over as new owners at Charlie's Bar & Grill, 517 E. Barker Ave. It's an exciting new venture for us and we'd love to have everyone come by and try us out!
In fact, the best opportunity to do so is Friday, June 25, when we host our first outside block party! The Point'n Fingers Band will be playing outside from 8 p.m. to midnight and we'll have 32 oz. domestic drafts for $4. Also, Friday is our fish fry day, and you can have all-you-can-eat lake perch for just $9.99! Stop on by any time, but especially Friday. It'll be a blast! |

I'll be sure to try to stop by Friday night. My birthday is tomorrow and me and my beau were looking for something to do Friday, I think I've found it!! Good luck with the business. It's funny, I just drove by Charlie's today. Well...not literally. I g**gled something on Barker Ave and used G**gle Maps street view, noticed when I was going down the street I went past Charlie's.
