I love 'em both - but I prefer Swingbelly's. I just think thier burgers taste better on all fronts - the meat, the cheese, the bun - damn - now I want one! Redamak's is a very close 2nd - but for me, Swingbelly's is the champ. When I bandy for bovine in patty form that's whare I'd rather go!

For me its like a choice between the natural beauty or the girl who is a knock out when all done up.
Redamaks by itself is a great burger, even without all of the extras. Swingbelly's add ons for their specialty burgers ( I LOVE the A1 burger) make them into a knockout. Being the kind of guy that prefers the all around beauty, I went with Red's |

I think we may have to do a burger challenge.
I see it as two parties each order burgers to go from both Redamak's and Swingbelly's simultaneously. Then both parties head to Washington Park, or possibly some point midway between the two locations, where the burgers are compared in a side by side taste test. I think we may have to do a burger challenge. If you're really going to do it right, I'd say gather up the best 8/16 burger places and bracket them up March Madness style. Of course, that might make it a multi-day affair, unless there were some judges with impressive appetites. |
