GAF in Michigan City is hiring production operators if you or someone you know is looking for work in the manufacturing industry.
Go to: http://www.gaf.com/About_GAF/Careers Click the search for jobs button Click on the quick search link, select Michigan City, click search, then click on production operator. You will be taken to a job description with a link to complete the online application. This is the only way you can apply to work at GAF now Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind~Dr. Suess

Sitting out on my swing tonight getting a good laugh at these people driving north on Ohio St. Most of them have Illinois plates. I must have witnessed this scenario about a dozen times.
They drive all the way up to 11th St. intersection which has been closed off for two weeks now due to NICTD laying down a second set of tracks and being repaved. Once they get to then barricade and realize they can't get through do a U-Turn and the turn left on either Greene St. or Warren Ave which both are not through streets and dead end to Elston St. which is One Way northbound which is also closed off at 11th St. They then turn around completely lost and head back southbound past my house on Ohio St. |

Got a good chuckle watching a car load of Warsaw High School students driving through the Shopping Center at Franklin St.& U.S. 20 parking lot like the were looking for something to do between boys basketball regional games. (I refuse to call that place Marquette Mall anymore.)
About the only thing I could suggest is go have lunch at B-Dubs and walk around Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall until their championship against Crown Point tonight. |
