I was wondering what options others in the area have found for their ISP.

I've been searching and researching all over the place and so far all I can find/confirm available in the area are Comcast, AT&T and "Automated Data Systems(ADSNet).

I am NOT willing to do business with comcast again.
I'm not interested in at&t's contracts/prices/service quality.
And my current service with ADSNet it's meeting my needs.

NetZero has given my conflicting reports on whether their service is available here or not.
I failed(but am still trying) to get confirmation from Frontier on if their service is available.
Pretty much every other ISP I can find has confirmed that they are NOT available here.

SO, has anyone here found any good options that they are satisfied with?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I was actually able to work with ADS to get service that better fits my needs. They have been a pretty good company to do business with, so I'm glad I could find a way to get better speeds.

But the general topic still stands. There is a serious lack of options for ISPs in this area. Comcast basically has a monopoly on that as well. But personally, I'll never go back to that company.

I got Comcast for internet and TV and MagicJack for my home phone.

I tore out all the old GTE phone lines down in the basement and cut the phone cable running from the pole to the back of the house.

The only lines wires I have running into the basement are NIPSCO, Comcast and a rooftop TV antenna so I can still have some TV if I ever lose Comcast service.

I have had Comcast forever, mostly because of Chicago sports.

I chose Comcast because they carry the South Bend Stations. The FCC does not allow DirecTv and DISH to carry the South Bend stations in our area.

I have DISH for t.v., (and you can get NETFLIX on DISH now!) and I have Frontier for my internet. Frontier has it now so that you do not need a home phone to have internet. You do need a phone line, but its only function is for the internet, no calls. I heard that DISH offers internet service now, too, but I have a contract with Frontier, so will stay with them until it's up and I can switch to DISH.
I am very happy with my services. I do not have a home phone, but I don't need one. And when I did have one, the only people who called were telemarketers and bill collectors looking for the person who had the number before me. My cell is with AT&T and I am extremely happy with them as well...
