Merrillvillle-based NIPSCO forecasts a typical residential customer using 623 therms of natural gas can expect to pay about $461 in gas bills for the winter heating season, which runs from Nov. 1 to March 31. I just heard on the T.V. that they expect heating bills to go up. Of course that is another provider but I have never seen Nipsco give up an opportunity to make money. It would be a nice relief for a change to not have to struggle through the winter wondering what gas prices are doing. They are also predicting more snow this year than last year--welcome to Northwest Indiana folks. |
