Washington Park Beach ranked #9 on a list of 30 dirtiest beaches in Indiana according to statistics amassed by the Natural Resources Defense Council. Washington Park Beach was deemed to have samples above Beach Action Value, on 12% of days in 2013, or just under once a week during the 297 days sampled.
