Congrats to the Michigan City High School Wrestling team on an impressive start to the 2014-2015 season! With their strong performance yesterday in South Bend, they finished a great week of wrestling that started with a DAC victory over La Porte in a home duel on Wednesday. Keep up the hard work and effort! Go City!

Haven't seen an article on the South Bend match... How did they do? Great to see these guys doing well! Wolves went 4-1 in the Washington Super Dual on Saturday, with one of the team victories being over New Prairie, which historically has a pretty good wrestling program. Three of our kids went 5-0 on the day (David Taylor, Dee Collins, and Malik Brooks). Four of the Wolves went 4-1 (Luke Powell, Alex Powell, Matt Schoof, Evan Long). Wolves team record now stands at 7-5 overall. The seven victories so far this season more then doubles their victory total for all of last season, when they struggled to get three victories. Program is definitely moving in the right direction. |

Good luck at Semi-state to the two remaining Wolves.
