During our monthly tour of the new Pine Elementary School the kids and I thought the playground equipment looked very familiar.

Well, to our amazement (not really) the MCAS moved our old playground equipment and gave Joy School our new equipment

And the MCAS Administration wonders why they cannot be trusted.

What they did is against the law. They cannot divert money, equipment, etc from one building to another.

This is BS and I am HOT!!!

I already spoke with MCAS Board Pres Jim Kintzele who knew nothing about it. He is looking into it and will call me back.

I wondered how Joy got the money to install the new equipment. THe only reason I can see them coming up with is that the old (wooden) equipment at Joy was aging and was starting to splinter. BUt to divert the equipment from another school? HOw mant other times has this happened?

My kids go to Joy...and I still would never have agreed to something like this.

Not to mention that the equipment at Joy wasn't that old to begin with. I think it was installed around '02

The smaller playground with the wooden equipment was installed in 2002? Really? It sure didn't wear well for being 7 years old if that is the case.

This is the follow up from Eric Hanke based on his research...

I was informed that the original plans, approved by the MCAS Board, called for moving the equipment purchased by the Pine PTC to the new facility.
