Boyd Gaming Corporation, parent company of Blue Chip Casino, has entered into an agreement to acquire the IP Casino, Hotel & Spa in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The IP Casino, a recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award, is one of the premier resorts on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The property features nearly 1,100 hotel rooms and suites, 73,000 square feet of convention and meeting space, a spa, a salon, great headline entertainment, and six bars and lounges. The 70,000-square-foot casino features 1,900 slot machines and 54 table games. The IP was extensively remodeled in 2005, and is one of the largest gaming resorts in southern Mississippi.
