Mrs. Parry, widow of Mr. Dave Parry is a total sweetheart. Out of the blue she called her friend and neighbor, MCPD Sgt. Chris Yagelski. Mrs. Parry said she had learned the city needed a replacement K-9 and said she would like to buy one for them. Chris advised her they are pretty salty and could be in the $10,000 range or more. Mrs. Parry didn't flinch. Chris ran it by the brass and learned the cost would be at least $11, 500. He told Mrs. Parry about the cost and she said come and get the check. The Parry's are a wonderful family. |
